Being Taught From My Gambling Errors
1st to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling on the web or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are penniless. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you are just having fun until you decide to pay attention to your squanderings and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you become queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the faster you are deprived.
When you see that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and again and again, trust me, this logic almost never ever works. Say you are betting on slot games, have an amount put aside prior to starting your action. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how tempting. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate pot. Do not risk your winnings no matter what. Once you have gambled through your original set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it’s on the web or at a land based casino, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be a different day, another time.
Remember, wagering should be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not afford the loss, don’t even start.
